St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Officers with the Tabernacle Police Station are investigating an early morning accident Wednesday (Mar 8), where a car flipped over and crashed, sending the driver to the hospital.

WINN FM understands a young man from Christ Church had left his home sometime around 7 am heading to work in Basseterre when one of the front tires of his car reportedly came off when he reached the vicinity of the St. Kitts Biomedical Research Foundation in Boryeaux, approximately one mile from the man’s home.

The car spun out of control, flipping over and landing top side near the side of the island main road.

The driver was taken to the hospital where he was treated for head injuries and released.

The Hon. Marcella Liburd was appointed Acting Prime Minister in the absence from the Federation of then Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas and the then Deputy Prime Minister, the Hon. Dr. Earl Asim Martin in March of 2013 according to Wikipedia. I think her background and experience has equipped her with the political necessities to be Prime Minister. Hopefully, she will get her chance sometime in the near future to be Prime Minister and when we celebrate women’s Day that year, we will be able to proudly her a speech from Hon. Marcella Liburd in the capacity of Prime Minister.
