St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN); Police continue their investigations into two incidents of robbery and building breaking in the rural parts of St. Kitts this past weekend.
On Sunday afternoon (Apr 2) parishioners discovered the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sandy Point had been broken into. WINN FM understands, however that nothing was reported stolen. This is the second time in the recent past that the church had been broken into.
Police are also on the hunt for three men that held up and robbed at gunpoint a shop on Main Street St. Pauls on Sunday night.
Reports indicate that the three masked perpetrators brandishing guns entered the shop just after 11pm and held up patrons and the shopkeeper. The bandits demanded money and escaped with the undisclosed sum. No one was hurt during the incident.
