St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): A statement issued by China through its embassy is claiming that Ren Biao spent US$350,000.00 described as a part of his criminal gains, in the name of investment migration to obtain St Kitts and Nevis passport in September 2013.

The statement called on the St Kitts and Nevis government to work with the Chinese government to seize and repatriate the "criminal suspect to China as soon as possible in order to prevent being a safe haven for criminals".

The Chinese government accuses Mr. Biao of swindling hundreds of millions from several banks, friends and relatives before fleeing to St Kitts and Nevis leaving behind broken families.

It added that Chinese police reported that Mr. Biao told his relatives and friends that he had a close relation with a senior officer in the government of St Kitts and Nevis and they often met, played golf and dined. He said, according to this release that the officer promised not to repatriate Mr. Biao to China.

The Chinese government posed the question “will the Investment Immigrant Programme of St Kitts and Nevis be the first choice of criminals to elude legal judgment?”
