St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN); Six individuals have been charged in connection to the Ruger P345 .45 pistol and five rounds of matching ammunition seized at a property in Cayon on Friday (May 12).
Those charged with Possession of a Firearm and Possession of ammunition are Andre Jules, Elvis Otto, Kevin Edwards, Tarique Lopez and Javin Henry all of Upper Cayon, along with Dijon Dore of Wade Street, Lower Cayon.
In other news Quincy Duncan of Caunt Street, Newtown, who was charged with Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply was granted bail in the sum of $15,000. He is scheduled to return to court on July 3.
Four of the five persons charged with Building Breaking, Larceny, and Receiving in connection to the Island Purified Water Depot burglary have been granted bail.
Avion Huggins of Lower Thibou Avenue, Dounel Gaskin of New Road Housing Project, Mari Francis of Market Street, and Leshawn Dore of Upper Cayon all received bail in the amount of $10,000 each with the conditions that they are not to be found in the company of others accused in the same incident and observe a curfew at their residences from 8 pm to 6am.
They were ordered to report back to the magistrate court on July 3.
Two of the individuals charged most recently in the investigation into fraud against the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis have been granted bail.
Kelvin Pemberton of Stapleton Village and Daveron Flemming of Challengers Village charged with Obtaining Money under False Pretence were granted bail in the sum of $15,000 each. The men were ordered to surrender their travel documents to the court. They are due back in court on July 3.
