St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The government is announcing plans to offer a residency option to the country's Citizenship By Investment Program and promises that details will be forthcoming in two weeks time.
A press release credits CEO of the Citizenship by Investment Unit Les Khan as making the announcement at a conference in Singapore on June 30.
He reportedly said St Kitts and Nevis can offer a residency program without changing any laws.
Mr. Khan is also reported as saying that economic citizens have expressed a demand to be registered as residents here.
Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris is quoted in the press release as saying the move makes sense as offering a residency program would meet a specific customer need, stimulate tourism and offer developers another avenue for marketing their projects.
