St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN); The citizens and residents of St. Kitts and Nevis continue to receive praise for their willingness to help their Caribbean brothers and sisters affected by Hurricanes Irma and Maria.
Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris gave an update on the amount of relief supplies donated by ordinary citizens and corporate entities that were shipped to neighboring storm-battered islands.

These figures did not include the large number of relief packages sent by air transport.
Prime Minister Harris also spoke to the number of persons that entered the federation by boat seeking refuge or in transit to their native countries in the wake of the storms.

St. Kitts and Nevis had extended help to affected islands, saying students who were due to sit CXC exams would be allowed to come and attend school in the federation, however there was no information provided if any foreign students had enrolled in the local schools.
