St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Condolences flood in for the people and government of Dominica at the devastation to that country due to the passage of Tropical Storm Erika Thursday morning.  In a release from his office, Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis Dr. Timothy Harris said he contacted the Prime Minister of Dominica Roosevelt Skerritt via telephone and letter noting that the people of St. Kitts and Nevis are saddened at the tragedy and the loss of lives, injuries sustained and the destruction of public infrastructure and personal property. St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN):  Government offices are closed today due to the passage of Tropical Storm Erika.  A statement issued by the Government Information Service just before 8:00 a.m., says that on the advice of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and information from  the Met Office, residents of the Federation should remain indoors until the passage of Tropical Storm Erika.  "Consequently Government Offices will be closed until it is considered safe to venture out," the statement reads.
