About two hours later officers responded to a report of a Robbery at Half Way Tree.

According to a police press release, initial investigations revealed that at about 10:30 p.m.  a shop proprietor, Lionel Rogers of Half Way Tree, was attacked by two armed masked men about and was robbed of an undisclosed sum of money.

Police PRO Inspector Lyndon David told WINN FM Thursday that Mr. Rogers was not injured during the robbery.
