University graduate appeals for help

St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): St. Kitts and Nevis is not immune to stories of frustrated university graduates unable to get work after accruing significant debt. One of those several stories is that of Walsworth Foreman, a graduate of Brigham Young University in the US. He currently holds a Bachelors Degree in business Management, but according to him, has been unable to find work despite knocking on the doors of some of local companies. For the time being, he is helping his mother sell snacks to school children in front the Beach Allen Primary School, but this is nowhere close in helping his service is debt repayment of just over $1600 a month. “Every door you knock on nobody has any jobs or people will tell you come and then give you the run-around,” Foreman said.  “I have to pay $1616 every month. To come up with that kind of money and not doing any work is very, very difficult,” he said.

Mr. Foreman says he has looked at the possibility of opening his own business, but lacks the capital to start. He is appealing to businesses within the private sector that are able to offer him a job, to contact him. His number: 669-9755 and his email address This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

There is an add from Vibes Bar for a manager, you can try out for that post. The most they can tell you is that you are over qualified. Take what you get and things just may work out.

Your plight is one of the main contributing factors of intellectual erosion, as persons with advance degrees migrate to find gainful employment. The Federation needs to make a more concerted effort to attract high-tech businesses so that more intellects coming back home can find meaningful employment.
