Bar Association says no confidence motion in court not sub judice

St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): WINN FM has drawn criticism for its news coverage of the yet to be heard Motion of No Confidence that is approaching its first anniversary. A top government official  is among several people who have complained that WINN needs to add to its news item that the Motion is before the court and not just report that it’s not being heard. Friday President of the St. Kitts Nevis Bar Association Charles Wilkin, Q.C. and Immediate Past President of the OECS Bar Association Tapley Seaton, Q.C. , appeared on WINN's  weekday talk show "Voices" as part of activities to mark Law Week celebrated November 3-9, 2013. They addressed several issues including the Motion of No Confidence that is not yet before the Parliament.

If the Motion of No Confidence is not "sub judice" (See Winn Fm Article Nov.8) then why would the High Court decide the Motion on Deccember 16, 2013? (See Winn Fm
Article Nov.9).

Wilkins ans Seaton should converse with reality!

Not everyone knows nor understands what is meant by "Not Under Penalty" so, it will be nice to have these law experts explain so that an infant will grasp it.
