Elected Majority informs Governor General they support Harris for PM

Elected Majority

St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN):  Six of the eleven Elected Representatives in the St. Kitts and Nevis Parliament have written to the Governor General to inform him that they support Opposition MP Dr. Timothy Harris for Prime Minister.

At a press conference on Thursday morning, the Opposition MPs also called for the tabling of the Motion of No Confidence in light of a court ruling Wednesday that supported their claim that their constitutional rights are being violated by the Motion not being table.

The Opposition filed a Motion of No confidence in government in December of 2012.

WINN FM will have more details of today’s press conference later today.
