Former Cayman Islands Premier Faces Probe

(Caribbean News Now) GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands -- Police in the Cayman Islands have confirmed that they are pursuing another investigation involving former premier McKeeva Bush, this time regarding the alleged misuse of public funds to pay for limousine services in the United States.

The Cayman police issued a statement on Wednesday confirming that Bush, now leader of the opposition, was questioned on Tuesday by the Financial Crimes Unit in connection with the latest investigation but he had not been arrested.

Enquiries are at an early stage and as such it would be inappropriate to comment further," an RCIPS spokesperson stated.
