The trend continues, and the plot continues to evovle whereby countries with leftist leaders with a leftist agenda continue to woo suspected weaker ones of coun- tries to come into their fold with promises of all kinds of aid, financial of course, and the leaders of these small island states continue to allow themselves to be misled that all is fine and dandy, they are only exercising their independent right as sovereign coun- tries to be friends with whom they chose.Make no mistake about it,Venezuela,Libya and Cuba are all leftist run countries and they are also interested in exporting their agenda and spheres of influence, mainly get friends and supporters.I know that Cuba and all the English speaking countries have had a very long and re- warding relationship over the years, moreso to the ben- fit of the islands than to Cuba, but friendship is very important because of crippling economic blockade that the US has had in place for so long on Cuba.IT seems that we have a new axis of evil operating in these parts to supplant the influence of the US,and the sad part of this is it will succeed, because we have a new leadership in the free world, whose philosophy is to ignore most of history and create your own, because you want to be all things to all people.People of St.Kitts and the wider Caribbean, you may all end up to be mem- bers of ALBA and whatever other membership the leader- ship decides to join, however be mindful of recent events in Honduras,a member of ALBA.People will only take so much,as one former VP said,'FREEDOM IS THE MOST CONTAGIOUS VIRUS IN THE WORLD'.

Desperate people do desperate things. It is so clear that this government is in all sorts of trouble, financial, ethical, and support from Kittitians for their vicious agenda and policies. Any country that has money to give, regardless of their history with links to terrorism, Mr. Douglas would go with this begging utensil in hand. It's embarrassing living in St. Kitts with a leader like Dr. Douglas who has nothing positive to offer his countrymen. All he offers right now in a dosage of diatribe, vindictiveness, and hopelessness.

And the jokers continue their charade. Winnfm's Burt David asked Erasmus Williams a simple question during the week; he asked him if the PM went to Libya to which Erasmus said that he did not know and that he'd have to find out and get back to Burt. Now tell me, was this a joke or something? If the press secretary does not know where the PM is hen he should resign from that position with immediate effect. How can a husband and wife live together but when the wife is asked about the husband's whereabouts the wife answers in the negative. Better if he had simply said that he could not comment on the matter rather than look so stupid or rather give such a stupid answer! Incompetence to the max we are getting...

we should not be dealing with leaders like moammar gadhafi. his history is notorious, he is a dictator and we must stay away from him, unless we intend to be like him. Douglas should have just stayed there. St. kitts would have smiling for all we need is peace nd justice. []
