St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): The St. Kitts Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) is pleased with the progress so far of the Digicel Premier League that came off to a really late start due to an impasse between four Premier League Clubs and the association. The clubs had contested not receiving prize moneys due to them by the SKNFA and a breach of playoffs policy that disenfranchised one of the teams that they claim should have been in last year’s finals. However, the SKNFA said the clubs were paid the money due to them and signed on earlier this year to participate in the league. Due to the delay, the league was reduced from three to two rounds, which is expected to end late July, making way for the playoffs.  WINN FM’s Andre Huie spoke to SKNFA General Secretary is Stanley Jacobs.
