Chile delegation in SKN promoting Pan Am Games bid

St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): A delegation from Chile is currently in St. Kitts and Nevis to promote its bid to host the Pan Am Games 2019. They made a presentation at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort on Friday showcasing the extravagant Athletes Village that intend to build, the upgrade to its infrastructure such as building a highway to facilitate easier traffic from airport to athletes village and facilities and new and modern sporting facilities. Chile will be hosting the South American Games next year and some of the facilities they are building will be used for the Pan Am Games, if they win the bid. The games will be held in the city of Santiago, the capital of Chile. Three other countries are bidding to host the games in their respective cities, namely Venezuela, Argentina and Peru. President of the National Olympic Committee of Chile, Neven Illic addressed the media and the SKN Olympic Committee Executive on Friday.
