SKNFA football, St. Kitts

Basseterre, St. Kitts (SKNFA): The initiative to continuously improve on our referee instructors as well as our referees is ever present in the SKNFA. For one full week, our local Referee Instructors/referees as well instructors and referees from across the Caribbean region. The course was declared officially open this morning( Monday 11th June, 2012) at the Marriott Hotel by the Minister with responsibilities for Sports, Hon. Glen “Ghost” Phillip.

Also attending were: Deputy Governor General Sir Edmund Lawrence,FIFA Development Officers Angenie Kanhai and Howard Mcintosh, FIFA Physical & Technical Referee Instructors, President of the SKNFA Mr. Anthony Johnson, General Secretary of the SKNFA Mr. Stanley Jacobs, Technical Director Mr. Lenny Lake, other executive members of the SKNFA Executive and well as office staff, members of the media and participants.

All overseas instructors were invited to enjoy the hospitable environment in which we operate here in St. Kitts and also to learn as much as they can in order to improve and further develop football in their country.

The course commenced immediately after the Opening Ceremony and will be running from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.until Saturday 16th June.
