Born in St. Kitts and raised in Montserrat, Toni did her first radio commercial for ZJB Radio Montserrat when she was three years old. By the age of eight she was co-hosting a children's radio programme, Kindergarden of the Air with ZJB's station manager. She grew up around the halls of Radio Montserrat, where radio personalities like Rose Willock and Mike Jarivs honed their craft.

At 13, Rose Willock, having moved on to the Big R.A., Radio Antilles, thought of Toni when she decided to launch the programme The Children's Hour, which Toni remained a part of until she migrated with her family to Canada just before her 17th birthday.

In Canada she completed a diploma in Radio Broadcasting at Humber College, but then decided to head back to University where she earned a degree in Anthropology (archaeology specialist).

Returning to the place of her birth in 1998, Toni took up a position teaching history at the Basseterre High School, but was soon lured into the private sector to work as the Organizational Development Manager at one the the country's largest companies, Delisle Walwyn. While there a casual conversation with the owner of a production company, led to her doing voice overs for radio and television. She was soon receiving occasional requests to serve as an interviewer or show host for various events.

When WINN FM was founded in 2002 she was approached about joining the team.

In April 2013, Toni will mark her 11th anniversary with WINN, a journey that has seen her try her hand at all aspects of the business both on air, behind the scenes and in administration.

She has also had the opportunity to travel for conferences, workshops, training and most recently was one of 50 journalists from around the world who was selected by the U.S. State Department to cover the Presidential elections in 2012.

Her journey continues.
