(Jamaica Observer) A court date is yet to be set for dancehall deejay Munga Honorebel who is currently behind bars after being charged with the murder of Cleveland Smith.Munga Honorebel (whose given name is Damian Rhoden) was arrested and charged on Saturday.
In an interview with the Jamaica Observer yesterday, attorney Christopher Townsend said his client has maintained his innocence and is quite concerned about the charges laid against him.
“As expected Mr Rhoden is very concerned about the allegations as they are very serious. The allegations are not true and he continues to maintain his innocence and is really saddened about the situation that he is in right now,” said Townsend.
Smith was reportedly killed approximately two weeks ago at a dance in the community of Ackee Walk in St Andrew.
