St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): Attorney General Vincent Byron is explaining the Team Unity Administration's response to media reports that China is claiming that the federation is harbouring a fugitive wanted for financial crimes in that country.

Regional news agency Carib Update News Service, broke the news Wednesday (May 3) that allegations were being levelled by a Chinese diplomat, that St Kitts and Nevis was sheltering a known fugitive who was on Interpol's Watch List.

The Chinese-born economic citizen referred to in the Carib Update report was reportedly granted St. Kitts and Nevis citizenship in September 2013.

Attorney General Vincent Byron told WINN 98.9 that every citizen of the federation deserves due process when allegations surface even as St Kitts and Nevis stands by its international obligations.
